Good showing in Lausanne

Good international showing in Lausanne this past month. Competing at the U23 European circuit event at Vaudois Arena on the weekend of November 15 and 16, I displayed a solid run of form in both the team and individual competitions.
In the individual event, I was able to reach the semi-finals with four straight wins, before falling to eventual champion Alina Dmytruk (UKR) by a score of 12:15. Overall, I finished the tournament in 3rd place.
In the team competition, I was part of Team Switzerland 1, which came in in fifth place. After an opening-match defeat vs. the Ukraine, we were able to secure a top‑5 finish with consecutive victories over Belgium and Israel.
My final competition of the year will take place this coming weekend, when I will take part at the World Cup event in Vancouver.
