European Championships in Cagliari

Last week, I had the opportunity to compete in the U23 European Championships in Cagliari, Sardinia. Looking back, the final results—32nd place in the singles tournament and 9th in the team competition—weren't entirely what I was aiming for. While my performance was ok, I didn't quite reach the level I had in Rio.

But of course, there is always a silver lining. Facing off against older and stronger competition provided exactly the kind of learning experience I was looking for. Ultimately, Cagliari was well worth the trip and I’m leaving Sardinia with a clear head and a better understanding of what it takes to reach the next level.
