A mixed bag of results at European Championships

Happy to be back on the strip. After suffering a knee injury at beginning of the year in Fujairah (UAE), I was finally able to make my comeback this week at the U20 European Championships in Tbilisi (GEO). After a six-week break, I was extremely motivated to return to competition, even though I’m not entirely satisfied with the final result. After a strong showing in the preliminary round (4 wins), I qualified directly for the Round of 64. There, I unfortunately couldn’t hide my lack of competitive rhythm. It wasn’t so much a physical issue as a mental one, as I was simply missing that last bit of confidence. Nevertheless, I’m returning to Switzerland with a positive outlook, knowing that I am back to 100% physically.
